Jina – day 20

This afternoon I am relaxing in the house while most of the others have gone to the field on motorbikes. They won’t risk taking me on one! We have just celebrated Ronald’s birthday with a tiny cake.

Yeeha – I’ve just discovered how to make my photographs smaller so that they load one thousand times faster. It’s a revelation to me. And just shows how much time I have been wasting waiting in internet cafes for a single pic to load.

So now you can get all those pics I had been wanting to include. I might go a bit mad.

Here are some pics that I was dying to include from the manure session in Isiri

And then there is Samson and Delilah who guard our lives at the house.

And then there is the pic of the primary school girls planting trees last week.

And then the expedition to discover the source of the Nile on Saturday.

And further down the Nile at Itanda falls (which are really rapids) we have a pic taken by Mike of us taking photographs on the bank.

So at last I am happy to be able to send more than a couple of photographs at a time. Even last night I had to entertain two young ladies with a meal while we all sat soaking up free WiFi. It’s a hard life but I am surviving well and will really miss being here.
